Pastor Zauja Lahtaw has been the pastor of Syracuse Myanmar Baptist Church since 2007. He is a graduate from Philadelphia Biblical University (PBU).
He and his wife Jaring Nding have four children: Zaukat, Esther, Deborah, and Sarah. Pastor Zauja had come to the United States in 1998 as a student to fulfill his dream of learning computer skill and pursuing it to become as a professional.
After finishing his biblical studies in Philadelphia, PA, he came to Syracuse, New York in 2003 to work and at the same time to continue Computer Science major at SUNYIT in Utica.
However, the Lord called him to care for His flocks those who were from Burma (Myanmar) in Syracuse, New York. He obeyed and responded that calling. He stop pursuing his dream in computer and served in the ministry since 2007.
